I worked with a Nike footwear designer to build the first prototypes of the Jordan Grind and Jordan Lunarlon in the Spring of 2016. The design and prototypes were immediately adopted. The shoe was released in the Fall of 2017. I was surprised how quickly these went into production, especially when I discovered them at a Nike store the following year. They are the first Jordan's I've worked on and have been released. Seeing people wearing the shoe in public makes me proud to be a footwear maker.
